AMMDENT LC CALEXCEL is an advanced dental material formulated as a light-curing radiopaque calcium hydroxide compound, meticulously crafted for a range of dental applications. Engineered as a one-component solution, it offers practitioners unparalleled convenience and reliability in procedures necessitating pulp capping, cavity lining, and acid protection during specific techniques. As a versatile liner, it finds its niche in indirect pulp capping, providing a safeguarding shield for the dental pulp while ensuring optimal preservation. Moreover, its utility extends to serving as a liner under various filling materials, enhancing structural support and insulation. Designed to thwart acid infiltration, LC CALEXCEL acts as a formidable barrier during total etch procedures, enhancing the longevity and integrity of dental restorations. Its pivotal role also includes the prevention of marginal leakage and bacterial incursion, particularly in sensitive cervical and approximal margins, where permanent isolation is recommended for maximal efficacy. The application process is streamlined, allowing for direct usage from the tube, with provisions for layering in cases requiring linings exceeding 1 mm. Curing is facilitated through halogen light, ensuring a robust polymerization process that fortifies the dental structure. However, caution is advised during excess material removal, necessitating precision to avoid dislodging the entire lining. Potential adherence to certain materials prompts the use of isolating agents, while allergen sensitivities dictate patient suitability. Contamination risks and curing parameters are meticulously outlined to optimize treatment outcomes. Packaged in a 2 grams tube with applicator tips, LC CALEXCEL epitomizes precision and control in dental procedures, offering practitioners a reliable ally in their pursuit of optimal patient care. While AMMDENT provides comprehensive information and quality assurance, users are reminded of their responsibility in product application, governed by existing standards and terms of sale and delivery.

Direction to Use
Preparation: Ensure dental surfaces are thoroughly dried and free from contamination. Follow standard preparation protocols as per usual filling techniques. For areas in direct proximity to the pulp, consider applying an aqueous calcium hydroxide preparation (CAL-EXCEL).
Application: Directly apply AMMDENT LC CALEXCEL from the tube onto the desired dental surface. If the lining exceeds 1 mm, apply and polymerize in layers as necessary.
Curing Process: Utilize a halogen light source for the curing process. Keep the light source approximately 1-2 mm close to the surface. Cure for a minimum of 40-60 seconds. Adjust curing time if the distance is increased, ensuring adequate polymerization.
Excess Material Removal: Carefully remove any excess material using a rotating instrument. Exercise caution to avoid dislodging the entire lining during removal. Follow up with the application of filling material according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Precautions:
Be mindful of potential adherence to certain materials such as crown and bridge materials, temporary sealants, and specific impression materials, which may result in removal during core build-up. Apply isolating agents like vaseline or glycerine gel in such cases.
Patients with known allergies to the ingredients, including calcium hydroxide, TEGDMA, BHT, UDMA, and amine, should avoid the use of this product.
Prevent contact with eugenol and other contaminants, as they may hinder polymerization.
Regularly check the halogen lamp/light guide to ensure adequate curing times and light intensity, as insufficient curing can lead to incomplete polymerization.
Storage: After use, avoid direct exposure to light sources such as operation lamps or sunlight. Promptly apply the material to prevent premature polymerization.
Presentation: AMMDENT LC CALEXCEL is available in a 2 grams tube with applicator tips, facilitating precise and controlled application during dental procedures.
