Direction of use

Before the unit is put on please see that :

‘O’ rings on the push-in connector are not worn out.
Jar should be checked for any crack, tubing & lid be tightly placed on the jar. The angular connector must be inserted as far as the stop. While unplugging, twist and pull.
Adjust vacuum before use. Fully tightened clockwise knob means full vacuum.

Cleaning and Disinfecting:

After each use, jars, lids, overflow cut off valve, catheters, etc.
should be cleaned thoroughly. When cleaning is necessary after infective fluid has been evacuated, the jars, lids, cut off valve and tubing can be sterilized by
autoclaving upto 120°C for 20 minutes. Alkaline cleaning agents and disinfectants based on phenyel may not be used. Adherence to hospital directives on hygiene is of prime importance.
The instructions provided by the suppliers of cleaning agents as well as by the manufacturers of sterilization
and/or disinfection units must also be followed, where application, temperature, process duration and airing, etc. are concerned.

The Function of the LED?S is as under:

If the one above the on/off switch (when ?on?) is

GREEN – it means it is working on AC mains
YELLOW – it is working on DC 12 V

The other LED indicator shows the battery status. If it is

- GREEN – the battery fully charged
- YELLOW – it is half charged
- RED – battery is low and needs charging

FAQs

Can we use this Suction Unit at Hill stations or areas of high altitude?

Yes, these suction units can be used at hill stations or areas of high altitude however, due to high atmospheric pressure, the vacuum pressure gets reduced. So we recommend you to buy a high power suction machine if you are willing to use them at high altitudes

pressure, slight deviations in vacuum reading may be noted. As a reference, the table below shows

Why did my suction unit made a beep sound?

The beep sound is an indication that the suction machine needs to be stopeed & the suction jar needs to be emptied
These suction units have been pre-designed with an alarming beep sound for the operator as they protect the suction machine from any harm

Can we use this suction machine for major surgeries where it requires to work for 3-4 hours constantly?

No, we dont recommend to use the suction machine for a longer time. Kindly set the machine in a non-working mode for 10-15mins to avoid heating up of the electric motor or to avoid any further damage to the suction unit.

Can we use this suction machine under 110V?

Yes, the suction machine can be used under 110V by using an adapter/ converter

How far can i can keep the suction unit from my dental chair? or I have 2 dental chairs in my dental clinic, can i use the suction from one position at the clinic?

- Suction power of the suction units decreases as the distance increases. It is recommended to keep the suction unit as close as possible to the dental chair
