Direction of use

Motorised pump is housed in the cabinet. On the platform, apart from the oil container, is a filter which is the suction inlet. To faster it well with the base, four black hexa bolts (used as hold fast for transportation at the bottom of the unit) MUST be removed by rotating anticlockwise with the aid of a simple handtool.

Before the unit is put on, please see that:

• The plug is connected to the grounded relevant mains outlet. In case of fluctuation, use voltage stabilizer.
• The vacuum control knob is not loose. It must be fully tightened clockwise.
• The lids are tightly placed on the jars and the tube on the nozzle of the lids.
• The oil container is full with lubrication oil No. 40. So that there is no leakage at the nozzle-connector joint, press and twist the connector to make it snug fit. Same way while unplugging, twist and pull.

  NOTE:

• The unit can overheat if it is restarted while under vacuum. Make sure it is between 0 and 150 mm Hg
• Always turn the power off with the power switch after job is complete or, in case of breakdown, in between the use.

FAQs

Can we use this Suction Unit at Hill stations or areas of high altitude?

•  Yes, these suction units can be used at hill stations or areas of high altitude however, due to high atmospheric pressure,  the vacuum pressure gets reduced. So we recommend you to buy a high power suction machine if you are willing to use them at high altitudes

VACUUM AT ALTITUDES
The specified maximum vacuum refers to sea level. According to local conditions, and barometric
pressure, slight deviations in vacuum reading may be noted. As a reference, the table below shows
several factors by which the indicated maximum vacuum value must be multiplied, according to the
altitude of location where the measurement is carried out

Why did my suction unit made a beep sound?

• The beep sound is an indication that the suction machine needs to be stopeed & the suction jar needs to be emptied
• These suction units have been pre-designed with an alarming beep sound for the operator as they protect the suction machine from any harm

Can we use this suction machine for major surgeries where it requires to work for 3-4 hours constantly?

• No, we dont recommend to use the suction machine for a longer time. Kindly set the machine in a non-working mode for 10-15mins to avoid heating up of the electric motor or to avoid any further damage to the suction unit.

Can we use this suction machine under 110V?

• Yes, the suction machine can be used under 110V by using an adapter/ converter

How far can i can keep the suction unit from my dental chair? or I have 2 dental chairs in my dental clinic, can i use the suction from one position at the clinic?

• Suction power of the suction units decreases as the distance increases. It is recommended to keep the suction unit as close as possible to the dental chair
