The Endopath Dextrus Minimally Invasive Access System is a sterile, disposable, single patient use abdominal access system comprising of a seal cap assembly & a fixed-length access retractor
The assembled device can maintain peritoneal gas pressure while allowing for the insertion of surgical instruments or the operator’s hands into the abdominal cavity
The Rapid Adjust Iris Seal is a sterile abdominal access device consisting of plastic stationery & rotating rings interconnected by a urethane membrane. The assembly comes with a marking pen & ruler to measure & mark incision length
It also contains a forearm wrap, which facilitates an extended reach within the abdominal cavity
The fixed-length access retractors are available in Small, Medium & Large sizes to accommodate a wide range of abdominal wall thicknesses
The device is meant to be used for abdominal hand-assisted laparoscopy procedures Colorectal, General, Urologic & Gynaecologic
The Endopath Dextrus system provides excellent trocar options for trocar replacement and a fairly small footprint, it provides versatility in that it is compatible with open or laparoscopic instruments as well as staplers
