Direction to Use
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate the patient’s dental and medical history to determine the need for deciduous tooth extraction using the EFSP7 forceps set.
- Selecting the Right Forceps: Identify the specific deciduous tooth to be extracted and choose the appropriate forceps from the set based on tooth type, location, and condition.
- Patient Preparation: Ensure the patient is comfortably positioned and administer local anesthesia for pain control.
- Isolation and Visibility: Use dental dams or appropriate isolation techniques to keep the surgical area dry. Ensure proper lighting and visibility for accurate instrument placement.
- Forceps Grip: Hold the selected forceps with a firm but controlled grip, ensuring proper alignment with the tooth to be extracted.
- Tooth Engagement: Gently engage the deciduous tooth with the beaks of the forceps, taking care not to damage surrounding tissues.
- Rotational Movement: Employ a controlled rotational movement to loosen the tooth from its socket.
- Extraction: Once sufficiently mobilized, use controlled force to extract the deciduous tooth. Ensure a smooth and atraumatic extraction.
- Post-Extraction Care: Provide post-extraction care instructions to the patient, including guidance on managing any discomfort and maintaining proper oral hygiene.
