is capable of cutting the archwires upto 0.56 x 0.70mm/ 0.022″ x 0.28″ both intraoral and extraoral methods

It is ideally used for cutting the distal end of the orthodontic wire emerging out of molar tubes

It also has a safety mechanism to hold the cut archwire so that it doesn’t fall into the patient’s mouth

Distal end cutter – a special plier used to cut off the ends of the arch wire.
