The LABCARE LB-1M-40t is a Trinocular Inverted Tissue Culture Microscope, featuring 40X, 100X, and 400X magnification with a light source and orifice illuminator. This microscope was designed for working with biological specimens, specifically in the field of tissue culture. It is built to be easy to clean and maintain, with a removable base plate that can be washed in an autoclave. The individual focusing knobs are also removable and can be soaked in soap water to make them easier to clean. The scope has an inverted lighting system that uses fiber-optic light guides to direct light over the object being viewed. Its 3W illumination lamp can be turned on independently or used in conjunction with the illuminator, which has six different color filters available. The microscope comes standard with a 10x eyepiece, but can also be fitted with optional 20x and 40x eyepieces.
