Direction to Use

• Connect the Handpiece: Attach the desired handpiece to the air motor engine. Depending on the procedure requirements, you can choose between a straight handpiece or a contra-angle handpiece. Make sure the connection is secure and properly aligned.

• Connect the Water Supply: Connect the external water source to the water connection on the air motor engine. This can be a water bottle or a water supply system connected to a dental unit or surgical console. Ensure that the water flow is properly regulated and adjusted to the desired level.

• Position the Instrument: Place the appropriate bur or surgical instrument in the handpiece. Ensure that it is securely fastened and properly aligned for the intended procedure.

• Activate the Air Motor Engine: Press the power button or trigger on the air motor engine to start the rotation. Depending on the model, you may need to control the speed using a foot pedal or the controls on the engine itself.

• Control Water Flow: Adjust the water flow control mechanism on the air motor engine or the separate water control unit, if applicable. Ensure that the water flow is sufficient to provide cooling and irrigation during the procedure. Adjust the flow rate as needed.

• Perform the Procedure: With the air motor engine activated and the water flow regulated, proceed with the dental or surgical procedure. Maintain a steady hand and control the instrument’s movement to achieve the desired outcome. Monitor the water flow and adjust as necessary throughout the procedure.

• Clean and Maintain: After completing the procedure, turn off the air motor engine and disconnect the handpiece. Clean and sterilize the handpiece, air motor engine, and any associated components according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Proper maintenance and sterilization are essential for the longevity and safe use of the equipment.
