Direction to Use

Preparation:

• Ensure that the handpiece is clean, lubricated (if required), and in good condition.
• Confirm compatibility with your dental unit and the rotary instruments you plan to use.

Handpiece Connection:

• Connect the handpiece to the dental unit using the ISO 3964 coupling system.
• Secure the connection to prevent any wobbling during use.

Rotary Instrument Attachment:

• Choose a rotary instrument with an FG shank diameter of Ø 1.6 mm.
• Insert the rotary instrument into the handpiece, making sure it is securely in place.

Water and Spray Adjustments:

• Adjust the water flow and spray settings on your dental unit according to the procedure.
• Confirm that the triple spray system is functioning properly to ensure adequate cooling.

Illumination Setup:

• If your handpiece has a Mini LED+ feature, activate it for improved visibility.
• Adjust the illumination intensity based on your preferences and the needs of the procedure.

Patient Preparation:

• Communicate with the patient, explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure the patient is comfortable and the treatment area is properly isolated.

Procedure Execution:

• Start the dental procedure with the Surgical Contra Angle Handpiece.
• Utilize the 45° head for improved visibility and access, especially in challenging areas like molars.
• Maintain a steady hand, proper angulation, and controlled movements for precision.

Monitoring and Adjustments:

• Monitor the cooling system throughout the procedure to prevent overheating.
• Make any necessary adjustments to the handpiece settings, water flow, or illumination as needed.

Rotary Instrument Removal:

• After completing the procedure, carefully detach the rotary instrument from the handpiece.
