Its composition includes 37 wt.% phosphoric acid in water, thickeners, and pigments. For optimal storage, it is recommended to keep N-Etch within a temperature range of 2-28 °C (36-82 °F), and for larger stocks, refrigeration at 2-8 °C (36-46 °F) is advised, ensuring its reliability and effectiveness in various dental applications.

Direction to Use

Preparation:

• Ensure that you have all the necessary equipment and personal protective gear (gloves, mask, eyewear) ready.
• Prepare the tooth or teeth to be restored by removing any decay or existing restorative material.
• Clean and isolate the working area using a rubber dam or cotton rolls to prevent contamination.

Etching and Bonding:

• Apply Ivoclar N-Etch Gel to the enamel and dentin surfaces as directed. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for etching and conditioning times.
• Rinse the etching gel thoroughly and dry the prepared tooth surface with a gentle stream of air, leaving it slightly moist.
• Apply Tetric N-Bond to the tooth surface.

Restorative Procedure:

• Open the Ivoclar Tetric N-Ceram Composite Kit and select the appropriate shade of composite material based on the patient’s needs and the clinical situation.
• Use the provided applicators or instruments to handle the composite material. Tetric N-Ceram Composite can be used for various restorative procedures, including class I-V restorations, veneers, fissure sealing, etc.
• Place and shape the composite material in the prepared tooth cavity or on the tooth surface. Sculpt the material to achieve the desired anatomy and esthetics.
• Light cure the composite material using a dental curing light.

Finishing and Polishing:
