Description

Ivoclar N-Etch Gel is a specialized dental product formulated for the precise tasks of enamel etching and dentin conditioning, primarily used in conjunction with composite restorations, sealants, and the adhesive luting of indirect all-ceramic or composite restorations. This gel is a trusted partner for Tetric N-Bond and serves the following indications: enamel etching, dentin conditioning, adhesive bonding, composite restorations, fissure sealants, and luting materials. Its composition includes 37 wt.% phosphoric acid in water, thickeners, and pigments. For optimal storage, it is recommended to keep N-Etch within a temperature range of 2-28 °C (36-82 °F), and for larger stocks, refrigeration at 2-8 °C (36-46 °F) is advised, ensuring its reliability and effectiveness in various dental applications.

The Ivoclar Applicators Refill is an essential dental tool designed for precise and controlled placement of various dental materials, including bonding agents, etchants, hemostatic solutions, cavity liners, and disclosing solutions. These non-linting, non-absorbent applicators feature a bendable handle, making it easy to reach and target hard-to-access areas in the mouth. The applicators come in a clean and hygienic white color, and their wide handle with webbing ensures excellent grip and maneuverability. The non-linting fibers of the applicators are ideal for scrubbing and maintaining a sterile working environment, while their disposable nature eliminates the need for cleanup and minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.

The Ivoclar Tetric N-Ceram Intro Pack with Tetric N-Bond 6g is a dental restorative solution, renowned for its state-of-the-art nano-hybrid technology. This light-curing, radiopaque composite material is designed for esthetic tooth restorations in both anterior and posterior regions. Tetric N-Ceram boasts outstanding mechanical properties, thanks to prepolymers that minimize shrinkage. Its high radiopacity (400% Al) is achieved through ytterbium fluoride fillers, aiding in the detection of secondary caries. The nano-optimized formula ensures durability and low wear.

This versatile product offers a wide range of application possibilities and shading options. Its nano-modifier provides exceptional modeling properties, preventing material from sticking to instruments. Nano-particles grant superior polishing capabilities. Tetric N-Ceram’s nano-color pigments, with a spherical structure, contribute to a chameleon effect, blending seamlessly with natural teeth

Tetric N-Bond is a light-curing, nano-filled single-component adhesive which is used in conjunction with the technique. Best partner for Tetric N-Bond is the phosphoric acid gel N-Etch. Tetric N-Bond is used in the placement of direct composite and compomer restorations as well as in the adhesive luting of indirect restorations made of all-ceramic and composite materials involving light-curing.

Tetric N-Ceram is a light-curing, radiopaque nano-hybrid composite based on nano-optimized technology for direct restorative procedures.
It can be universally applied to restore teeth in the anterior and posterior region. Its nano-optimized filler technology is responsible for the material’s unique chameleon effect and natural esthetic results. Tetric N-Ceram demonstrates an exceptionally high level of radiopacity and thus significantly facilitates the diagnosis of secondary caries.

  • Clean and isolate the working area using a rubber dam or cotton rolls to prevent contamination.

Etching and Bonding:

  • Apply Ivoclar N-Etch Gel to the enamel and dentin surfaces as directed. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for etching and conditioning times.
  • Rinse the etching gel thoroughly and dry the prepared tooth surface with a gentle stream of air, leaving it slightly moist.
  • Apply Tetric N-Bond to the tooth surface.

Restorative Procedure:

  • Open the Ivoclar Tetric N-Ceram Composite Kit and select the appropriate shade of composite material based on the patient’s needs and the clinical situation.

  • Place and shape the composite material in the prepared tooth cavity or on the tooth surface. Sculpt the material to achieve the desired anatomy and esthetics.
  • Light cure the composite material using a dental curing light.

Finishing and Polishing:

  • After curing, use appropriate dental instruments to contour and shape the restoration to mimic natural tooth morphology.
  • Polish the composite using fine-grit finishing and polishing materials to achieve a smooth, esthetic surface.

Final Inspection and Patient Care:

  • Examine the restoration for any imperfections, rough spots, or occlusal interferences.
  • Adjust the occlusion if necessary for proper alignment with opposing teeth.
  • Provide post-operative instructions to the patient regarding care, oral hygiene, and any potential discomfort.

Post-Operative Follow-Up:

  • Schedule a follow-up appointment to assess the restoration’s integrity and the patient’s comfort.
