Ethicon Proximate reloadable linear staplers allow the surgeon to choose the staple height to better accommodate various tissue thicknesses
Proximate TL Reloadable Linear Staplers are available in 3 sizes: 30mm/60mm/90mm
Staple height can be adjusted to compensate for different tissue thicknesses
The TLH models fire heavy wire staples which have the longest leg length & are meant for thick tissues
Its dial allows controlled tissue compression and adjustable staple height for tissue management
The TLV model is a reloadable linear vascular stapler that delivers two staggered rows of titanium staples & is meant for soft tissues
Parallel jaw closure helps to ensure that tissue is compressed evenly within the jaws of the instrument for consistent staple formation
All TL devices can be reloaded upto 3 times with a maximum of 4 firings per reload
