The Ligasure Curved Jaw Disposable Electrode Instrument is meant to be used for open procedures
It is a vessel sealing system with disposable electrodes, featuring an integrated cutting blade for use in open procedures
It provides sealing independent of cutting and slides easily into place
Combining the essential elements of surgery: grasping, sealing and cutting the exchange of instruments is minimized as compared to mechanical ligation
The instrument features an inline activation button which allows the same hand to activate and hold the device in different positions
The first click indicates the end of the grasp zone and the second click indicates energy activation
The LigaSure curved jaw open device is compatible with the Valleylab LS10 generator, Valleylab FT10 energy platform and ForceTriad energy platform
