Description

It is a High Contrast Fixer liquid specifically recommended for X-ray films.

Composition

• Sodium/ammonium thiosulfate (fixing agent)
• potassium alum (hardener) 
• Sulfuric/acetic acid (Acidifier)

INDICATION

Indicated for fixation of the radiographic image on x-ray film

• Readily available to use
• Fast fixing of the image
• Cost effective
• Good amoount of solution (500ml)

Key Specifications

Note: In fresh solution fixing time is 3 min do not fix for more than 10 min. Prolonged fixing may have bleaching effect on the silver.

 

Caution: Use of rubber hand gloves or frequent rinsing of hands is recommended.

Direction of use

• Before using the Samit X-ray fixer solution, the Tank should be completely drained and throroughly cleaned and flushed.
• Extreme care should be taken. To avoid any conatmination of the develop solution with fixer.
