Description

Caulk Universal Tray Adhesive is Suitable for all vinyl polysiloxane impression materials.

Caulk Tray Adhesive is used to enhance the adhesion of vinyl polysiloxane impressionmaterials (e.g. Aquasil, Aquasil Ultra, Reprosilmaterial, Hydrosilmaterial) to rigid stock metal(e.g. Rim-Lock tray) or plastic (solid or perforated), custom acrylic and double-arch (e.g., FirstBite tray) type impression trays. Separation of set impression material from the impression trayupon removal from the mouth may introduce distortion errors. The use of the adhesive helpsassure that the completed impression remains firmly attached to the tray upon removal fromthe mouth.

Indications

Caulk Tray Adhesive is indicated for application to impression trays to enhance the adhesionof all types of vinyl polysiloxane impression materials to intraoral impression trays includingperforated and non-perforated stock metal and plastic, custom acrylic and mesh-type doublearch trays.

Direction of use

STEP 1:Select and/or prepare a suitable tray. Prior to application of CaulkTray Adhesive, trial fittray for proper fit and extension.

STEP 2: After proper fit is assured, rinse and thoroughly dry the tray.

STEP 3:Brush a thin layer of CaulkTray Adhesive onto the tray surfaces that will be covered withimpression material and allow to air dry for at least five minutes, but no more than 30minutes. Repeat application if greater than 30 minutes have elapsed.

Technique Tip: Avoidplacement of excess adhesive onto tray surfaces. Retention will NOT be enhanced and maybe compromised by placement of a thicker layer of tray adhesive onto tray surfaces.

STEP 4: Mix and place desired tray viscosity impression material directly into coated impression trayas per selected impression material directions.
