The 3M Steri Strip Wound Closure System has a nonnvasive design that helps reduce scarring and the risk of infection as compared to sutures and staples, providing less tissue trauma and better cosmetic outcomes
It is sterile, breathable and comfortable to wear
It provides a viral and bacterial barrier (In vitro testing shows that the transparent film dressing provides a viral barrier from viruses 27 mm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage)
The system keeps wound protected with the Steritrip closure and allows patient to shower or bathe
Suggested Applications:
For use in skin closure applications where extra protection is required
Ideal for wounds and incisions of 2.5 cm or less
Arthroscopic & laparoscopic procedures
