The 3M Tegaderm IV Transparent Film Dressing with Border is a sterile, waterproof, breathable and transparent IV dressing meant for the protection of IV catheter sites and wounds
The dressings act as a barrier that protects against external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood and other bodily fluids
The dressing maintain a moist environment around the wound to facilitate the healing process
The dressing is flexible for greater patient comfort
The transparent dressing enables complete visibility of the IV site
The dressings are reinforced with two sterile tape strips to secure fixation of the IV device
Indicated applications include:
Coverage and protection of IV sites
Chronic and acute wounds
Pressure ulcers and superficial burns
Autolytic debridement

5cm * 5.7cm in a pack of 100 dressings for peripheral IV applications in paediatric patients
8.5cm * 7cm in a pack of 100 dressings for peripheral IV applications in adult patients
8.5cm * 10.5cm in a pack of 50 dressings for central venous IV therapy
