- 1 x 10gm Powder
- 1 x 6gmLiquid
Direction to Use
- Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean enamel, dentine, and metal surfaces, ensuring they are free from debris and contaminants. Ensure surfaces are completely dry to facilitate optimal adhesion. Remove any remnants of previous materials that may compromise the bonding properties of AMMDENT GI Luting Premium.
- Temporary Work Preparation: For temporary work, use an eugenol-free cement. Clean and prepare the core by rinsing with an appropriate solution (e.g., H2O2), and ensure it is completely dry before application.
- Preparation for First-time Use: Remove the cap from the bottle and attach the provided pipette for dispensing the liquid.
- Powder Preparation: Before use, shake the powder container well to ensure uniform consistency.
- Mixing Ratio: Maintain a powder-to-liquid ratio of 3.0:1 (g/g) for consistent results.
- Mixing Process: Dispense one drop of liquid for each level measuring scoop of powder onto a suitable mixing surface such as a glass plate or mixing pad. Divide the powder into three portions and gradually mix each portion into the liquid using a solid plastic spatula or similar abrasion-resistant tool.
- Mixing Time: Mix the powder and liquid for approximately 30 seconds to achieve a homogenous mixture.
- Working Temperature: Ensure the ambient working temperature falls within the range of 15degrees C to 23degrees C for optimal handling characteristics.
- Application: Apply AMMDENT GI Luting Premium within its working time, approximately 3 minutes. Use a hard brush to apply the cement to the prepared core, ensuring proper coverage while avoiding contact with water and saliva.
- Setting Time: The cement typically sets within 5-7 minutes (3-5 minutes in the mouth). Monitor the setting process to ensure proper adhesion and stability.
- Excess Material Removal: After 10-15 minutes, excess material can be gently removed using an explorer tool.
- Precautions: Prioritize desensitizing strongly ground and sensitive areas before temporary attachment. Ensure complete removal of varnish and isolating agents to optimize adhesion. Avoid excessive application of cement and maintain adequate dentine thickness to prevent pulp irritation. Rinse instruments with cold water immediately after use to prevent cement residue buildup.
- Storage: Close the powder container tightly after each use to prevent moisture infiltration, which may compromise compressive strength. Store AMMDENT GI Luting Premium within the temperature range of 4degrees C to 23degrees C to maintain its efficacy over time.
