Ammdent Orthodontic Adhesive Kit

• Composition: Crystalline and fumed silicon dioxide, Bisg-ma stabilizer, Photo initiators

• 1 x 5gm Adhesive Tube
• 1 x 3ml Etching bottle
• 1 x 3gm Bonding Agent
• 10 x Plastic Applicator Brushes

• 1 x Mixing Pad

Tooth Preparation:

• Clean the enamel surfaces with plain pumice, avoiding oil or fluoride-containing pastes.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry teeth with oil and moisture-free compressed air. Ensure the patient does not rinse.
• Isolate cleaned teeth for optimal etching conditions.
• Dispense 1 to 2 drops of etching solution onto a dispensing pad. Apply the solution with a dabbing motion to the prophy teeth to be bonded for 60 seconds.
• Rinse thoroughly with water, ensuring no contamination. Re-isolate and dry the tooth thoroughly.

Application of Adhesive Bracket Placement:

• Apply a thin coat of primer to each etched, dry tooth and the underside of each bracket base using a disposable primer brush.
• Allow approximately 45 seconds for plastic brackets to condition.
• Apply a small quantity of adhesive paste to the underside of the bracket base and place it on the tooth.
• Adjust the bracket position as necessary. Activate the composite adhesive with the curing lamp for at least 90 seconds.
• Do not move the bracket once the adhesive hardens. Remove excess adhesive if needed.

Bracket & Adhesive Removal:

• Use a ligature cutter to grab the adhesive at the enamel adhesive interface and slowly peel the bracket/base off the tooth.
• Avoid shearing or twisting forces during removal.
• Clean surfaces with a sealing instrument and polish with pumice.
