B Braun Intrafix SafeSet IV Administration Set with Neutrapur Tubing

The B Braun Intrafix Safeset IV Set is a universal IV administration set with air vent for gravity infusions and pressure infusions with nonedicated infusion pumps
The IV set comes with PVC free patient friendly Neutrapur tube. The pressure resistant is not pumpompatible.
The Neutrapur tubing is free of halogene, e.g. chlorine, free of plasticizer
The IV set has a large filter area that retains particles >= 15
The device can be used for all patients for which infusion therapy is prescribed. Intrafix SafeSet can be used for adults, pediatric and neonate patients.
The Intrafix IV set comes with tubing made with PVC but DEHPree, optionally also PVCree

Direction for Use
Unwrap the IVet and check whether the green air vent cap is closed and the roller clamp is open
Spike the semirigid container/ bag
Close the roller clamp
Turn the IVystem upside down. Squeeze the drip chamber impulsively and bring fluid level up to the ring of the drip chamber
Open roller clamp. Prime the line until the end. Afterwards close the roller clamp again
Squeeze the drip chamber impulsively once again. Remove cap and connect it to the patient connector
Precaution:
Always double check level of liquid in the drip chamber. If necessary refill the drip chamber by squeezing. Roller clamp should be placed on closed position.
