The BD Arterial Cannula is a catheter designed for insertion into peripheral arteries and is used to determine blood gas estimations and monitoring blood pressure
The Floswitch is an on/off device which prevents backflow and negates the risk of air emboli entering the bloodstream
It has wings which facilitate fixation to the body of the patient
It is sterilized using ethylene oxide
Needle size is 20 gauge and length is 45 mm
