Preparation: Ensure the patient is comfortably seated and prepared for the procedure.
Select Film Size: Choose the appropriate size of Carestream Occlusal Film based on the area to be imaged.
Positioning: Place the film in the occlusal plane of either the maxillary or mandibular arch, depending on the area of interest.
Patient Positioning: Instruct the patient to hold the film in place using their tongue and bite gently on a bite block or tab to stabilize the film.
X-ray Beam Alignment: Adjust the x-ray unit to direct the beam perpendicular to the occlusal plane for optimal image capture.
Exposure: Set the x-ray machine parameters.
Film Processing: Develop the exposed Carestream Occlusal Film using standard radiographic processing techniques.
Evaluation: Once processed, evaluate the radiograph for clarity and diagnostic quality to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
