Syringe-delivered paste ensures that the product is easy to use.

Its water solubility allows the paste to be rinsed completely from the teeth without leaving a residue or film.

When applied with the Enhance Foam Polishing Cup, Prisma Gloss Polishing Paste improves the smoothness of the finished surface of microfil composites to a final, high luster surface, or pre-polished by smoothing finished surfaces of hybrid and micro-hybrid composites to low luster.

For hybrid and micro-hybrid composites, following with Prisma Gloss Extra Fine Polishing Paste results in a final, high luster polished surface.

Description

Prisma Gloss Composite Polishing Pastes are water-soluble, aluminum oxide pastes designed for final polishing of anterior and posterior composite restorations, diastema closures, esthetic incisal lengthenings or veneers.

Direction to Use

STEP 1.

Proceed with normal procedures for gross reduction and finishing of the excess cured composite.

STEP 2.

Apply a small amount of Prisma-Gloss material to the surface of the polishing cup. Work the surface of the restoration, dry initially at moderate speed and pressure.

STEP 3.

To increase surface luster, add water in small amounts to dilute paste, then use a light circular buffing action. Repeat as needed to produce a smooth surface.

STEP 4.

Rinse the Prisma-Gloss from the tooth surface. Thisis thefinalstepformicrofilledcomposites. Continue with the next step for hybrid composite materials.

STEP 5.

Apply Prisma-Glosspaste to the polishing cup as described above in steps 3 & 4 and lightly buff the surfaces for the final luster. A high luster should rapidly develop in 20-30 seconds of polishing. Rinse all surfaces and discard the polishing cup after use.
