Description

Povifine Germicide Gargle 2% is an antiseptic and disinfectant agent which kills a wide range of germs including bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores and simple organisms. It provides soothing relief of dryness or minor irritation of the mouth and throat. 

Indications:

• For infected inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx caused by bacteria or fungal infections such as tonsillitis, pharyngitis, stomatitis, traumatic ulcers etc. and for cleansing the mouth before, during and after dental surgery.
• Sometimes minor side effects may occur in some individuals after using this which includes burning, irritation, itching and redness which usually disappears as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you?re worried about them.

• Composition – Povidone iodine-2%w/v  (0.2% w/v available iodine), 8.38% v/v absolute alcohol.
• Mint Flavour.

Direction of use

• Shake well before use. 
• Dilute with an equal volume of water and gargle or rinse for at least 30 seconds. Repeat every two to four hours for as long as required or as directed by the physician.
• Make sure not to swallow the medication. 
• You must have to avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after using it.
