The GC Gond is a new, revolutionary 7th Generation (single component) adhesive that takes the guesswork out of bonding
The unique combination of Phosphoric Acid Ester Monomer and 4ET Adhesive Technology creates superior etch and adhesion to enamel, in addition to providing a chemical and mechanical seal to dentin (referred to as the Nano Interaction Zone)
Mild etching of enamel and dentine allows the tubules to stay closed providing a very low risk of postperative sensitivity
Presence of two different functional monomers creates chemical adhesion to the tooth structure
Simultaneous demineralization, and monomer infiltration results in a better seal resulting in less nanoeakage
One component system with a simplified application technique saves time a 30econd procedure
Ease of use with low sensitivity to dentine moisture control ensuring reliable adhesion
The GC Gond Dental Adhesive is HEMA free to avoid the risk of allergic reactions
5% filler seals tubules leads to fewer voids between the thin adhesive layer and the dentin, which minimizes microleakage and prevents microbial invasion
It virtually eliminates postp sensitivity because dentin tubules are never exposed (due to 5% filler)
The dental adhesive completely coats all bonding surfaces even in an extremely shallow cavity; fewer voids
High surface tension makes it easier to apply and remain on all bonding surfaces
Available in bottle and innit dose
Precautions:
GOND is flammable. Do not use near naked flame. Keep away from sources of ignition. Do not store large quantities in one area. Keep away from direct sunlight.
GOND is volatile. Use in a well ventilated place
In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention
In case of contact with oral tissue or skin, immediately remove with a sponge or cotton pellet. After the restorative treatment is finished, rinse thoroughly with water.
If the tissue contacted by the material turns white or forms a blister, advise the patient to leave the affected area undisturbed, until the mark disappears, usually in 1 weeks. To avoid contact, it is recommended to apply cocoa butter to the area where rubber dam cannot cover.
Avoid inhalation or digestion of material
When spilt on the table or floor, immediately wipe off with a dry cloth
Do not mix with other products
Dispose of all waste according to local regulations
