- 1 x 5ml bottle
Direction to Use
Cavity Preparation:
- Prepare the tooth using standard techniques.
- Use a rubber dam for protection.
- Dry the prepared tooth surfaces by gently blowing with an air syringe.
- For direct pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide.
Application:
- Shake the G-BOND bottle thoroughly before dispensing.
- Dispense a few drops into a clean dispensing dish.
- Replace the bottle cap immediately after use.
- Apply G-BOND to the prepared enamel and dentin surfaces immediately using the Disposable Applicator II.
- Leave undisturbed for 5-10 seconds after the end of the application.
- Dry thoroughly for 5 seconds with oil-free air under maximum air pressure. Use vacuum suction to prevent adhesive splatter.
Additional Notes:
- When removing from the refrigerator after long-term storage, let the G-BOND bottle stand at room temperature for several minutes before use.
- Non-cut enamel should be treated with a 35-40% phosphoric acid gel, rinsed with water, and gently dried before using G-BOND.
- Apply G-BOND immediately, as the material contains a volatile solvent.
- Remove excess material on the tooth surfaces (other than those to be bonded) using a sponge or cotton pellet, as residue material is hard to remove after light curing.
- If the applied material is contaminated with water, blood, or saliva before light curing, wash and dry the tooth and repeat the application procedure.
Light Curing:
- Light cure using a visible light curing unit.
- Halogen/LED (700 mW/cmツイ): 20 seconds or 10 seconds if the light guide tip is more than 10mm away from the surface.
- High-power LED (more than 1200 mW/cmツイ): 10 seconds or 5 seconds if the light guide tip is more than 10mm away.
- Use a protective light shield or similar protective eyewear during light curing.
Placement of Composites:
- After light curing the adhesive, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to place, contour, and light cure the chosen composite resin material.
Finish and Polishing:
- Adjust the restoration and polish using standard techniques.
