Description

GDC Bristow Elevator (BE) is a specialized surgical tool that orthopedic surgeons commonly use to retract and separate soft and hard tissues, in order to expose joints, bones and other anatomical structures. It is passed down through incision beneath the zygomatic bone through dissection carried out in the temporal fascia which is then gradually reduced to its position.The incision is then closed in layers.

It is used for the reduction of the zygomatic fracture, elevate fractured zygomatic bone, reduce tooth bearing position of upper jaw.
