Because of our developed and optimised ion-ray process, our HAHNENKRATT mouth mirrors achieve a superior reflection.

For decades the success of HAHNENKRATT mouth mirrors is based on the use of always advanced production techniques. In high vacuum equipments there is generated with a 2 x 10-6mbar electron-ray- evaporating a complex structure of layers, whose reflecting layer consists of pure Rhodium. Rhodium is as Gold or Platinum a precious metal.

The splitted mirror shows the difference between the Rhodium and the clear and bright ULTRA FS mouth mirror.

Our photo mirrors distinguish by the following advantages:

• Distortion-free, extremely sharp, high-contrastreproduction down to the smallest detail
• Highly resistantagainst all kinds of disinfection and sterilisation (180?C), even against acidic Refresh products
• Brilliant natural colours and excellent lightnesswith a homogeneous reflection spectrum of 90% compared to silver

Due to the Rhodium reflection layer (FS – Front Surface) being directly on the surface the image is reflected only once and therefore exactly sharp.

With a normal reflection layer at the glass-underside the image is reflected twice. Once on the mirror layer and additionally on the glass-surface, however the reflection is weak.
