Direction to Use

• Prepare the handpiece: Ensure the handpiece is disconnected from any power source and is clean and dry. Remove any cartridges or turbine components that require repair or maintenance.
• Select the appropriate chuck: Determine the chuck type of your handpiece (STANDARD, Torque, or Mini) and ensure the tool’s chuck is compatible with it.
• Insert the tool into the handpiece: Insert the chuck of the repair tool into the chuck receptacle of the handpiece. Make sure it fits securely.
• Apply torque: Use the tool’s handle or designated torque mechanism to apply the necessary torque to the chuck. This will loosen or secure the chuck depending on the maintenance or repair task.
• Open the handpiece: With the appropriate torque applied, gently turn the repair tool counterclockwise to loosen and open the handpiece. Be cautious not to apply excessive force that may damage the handpiece components.
• Repair or maintain components: Once the handpiece is open, proceed with the necessary repairs or maintenance tasks. This may include replacing bearings, cleaning or lubricating internal components, or replacing faulty parts.
• Secure the handpiece: After completing the repairs or maintenance, gently turn the repair tool clockwise to tighten and secure the handpiece components.
• Remove the repair tool: Carefully remove the repair tool from the handpiece chuck receptacle.
• Reinstall cartridges or turbine components: If you had removed any cartridges or turbine components, reinstall them into the handpiece according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Test the handpiece: Connect the handpiece to a suitable power source and test its functionality. Ensure that it operates smoothly and without any issues.
