Direction to Use
Preparation:
- Ensure you have all the necessary equipment and materials, including safety precautions for dental procedures.
- Prepare the dental operatory, and have all required instruments and materials within easy reach.
Patient Preparation:
- Prepare the patient for the procedure, ensuring proper isolation and anesthesia as needed.
Tooth Preparation:
- Prepare the tooth surface according to the clinical indications, which may include removing decayed or damaged tooth structure and creating suitable cavity designs for the type of restoration.
Etching:
- Apply Ivoclar Eco-Etch Etching Gel, which contains phosphoric acid, to the tooth surfaces in accordance with the total-etch technique.
Bonding:
- Apply Ivoclar Vivadent Te-Econom Bond, the one-bottle, one-layer adhesive, immediately after etching and rinsing.
Composite Placement:
- Take the Ivoclar Te-Econom Plus Universal Composite Shade from the kit or refill and place it in the prepared cavity according to the clinical indications. Sculpt the composite as needed to achieve the desired anatomical shape and contour.
Light-Curing:
- Use a suitable dental curing light to cure the composite material.
Contouring and Polishing:
- After curing, use dental instruments to contour and shape the restoration to achieve the desired aesthetics and occlusion. Ensure that the composite is adequately polished to achieve a smooth and natural appearance.
Finishing:
- Finish the restoration as required to ensure it matches the surrounding dentition and functions properly.
Final Inspection:
- Carefully inspect the restoration for any imperfections, ensure proper occlusion, and make any necessary adjustments.
Post-Operative Instructions:
- Provide post-operative instructions and any necessary follow-up appointments to the patient.
Cleanup and Disposal:
- Clean and disinfect all equipment and surfaces used during the procedure, and dispose of any waste materials according to recommended infection control protocols.
