- 1 x Upper Lateral Incisor Crown
Direction to Use
- Crown Selection: Choose the appropriate crown size by measuring the mesio-distal width of the prepared tooth.
- Incisal Preparation: Cut 1.5 to 2 mm from the incisal edge of the tooth to create space for the crown.
- Supragingival Preparation: Create a chamfer margin around the tooth by reducing 0.5 to 1 mm of the tooth structure above the gum line.
- Subgingival Preparation: Extend the chamfer margin 2 mm subgingivally, ensuring no ledge formation to facilitate proper crown seating.
- Check Fit & Preparation:
- Round off all line angles to avoid sharp edges.
- Ensure the crown fits passively without excessive force.
- Clean the crown thoroughly with alcohol and water.
- Control any bleeding to maintain a clean working field.
- Cementation:
- Use glass ionomer cement, as recommended by Kids-e-Crown.
- Apply the cement inside the crown.
- Place the crown on the prepared tooth using light finger pressure to ensure proper seating.
- Remove any residual cement from around the margins and the tooth.
