The Levram V Media VTM Covid9 Sample Collection Kit is intended for the collection and transport of clinical specimens primarily containing viruses (COVID9) and could also be used for Chlamydia, Mycoplasma or Urea plasmas from the collection spot to the laboratory
It is suitable for collection & transport of throat & nasal swabs for respiratory diseases from human patients
The kit is designed to maintain the optimum viability and virulence of the viral sample during transport & storage

It provides an isotonic environment containing protective proteins, antibiotics to control bacterial proliferation, cryoprotectant & buffers to control pH
VMEDIA transport medium is made of hanks balanced salt solution and contains a protective protein antibiotics to control microbial contamination and buffers to control the pH
VMEDIA is Prepared in Laminar Air Flow (LAF) under sterile conditions

Steps to Use:
Take VMEDIA Kit
Tear of the pack & take out Swab & Tube
Take sample using swab
Insert the Swab in the Virus Transport Media Tube till it reaches the tube
Bend the swab at 180 degree to break at appropriate point
Tightly press the cap towards the tube
Warnings:
Do not try to plug out the tip from the swab
Do not use if seal is tampered or there are other signs of deterioration
Do not use if there is a evidence of leakage
Do not use if there is a change in the color of the medium
