It is recommended to facilitate complete deflation of the LMA ProSeal Airway
The cuff deflator ensures completely deflated, smooth leading edge which allows for insertion and avoids deflection of the epiglottis or entry of the tip into the glottis
The deflator is reusable and autoclavable
The cuff deflator should be cleaned and sterilised in the same manner as the LMA Proseal

Insert As Far Back as Possible Until It Seats
