The Mahurkar Acute Hemodialysis Catheter is a dual lumen catheter and comes with sideholes
Its lumen design maximizes internal diameter to provide consistent and equal flow rates with low arterial pressure
It is made of flexible polyurethane material which provides optimal stiffness during insertion and softens up to 50% postnsertion for vessel conformity and patient comfort
It features laserut side slots which helps improving catheter flow rates and reduce the likelihood for positional occlusion and clot formation by minimizing debris attachment
Its clear silicone extensions allow for visualization of blood or air in the extension
It also features rotatable transparent suture wing which allows for easy visualization and cleaning of exit site as well as catheter reositioning in the event of flow problems due to patient position
The catheter is available in the lengths of 9/12/16/13.5/19.5 cm
