Direction to Use
Preparation:
- Ensure the handpiece head and associated dental motor (e.g., Endo Mate DT, EndoMate AT, or EndoMate TC 2) are clean and sterilized.
- Verify that the push button chuck mechanism is functioning properly.
Attaching the Handpiece Head:
- Align the handpiece head with the motor coupling.
- Push the head firmly onto the coupling until it clicks into place.
Instrument Change:
- Press the push button located on the handpiece head to release the current instrument.
- Remove the instrument carefully from the chuck.
- Insert a new instrument or attachment into the chuck until it is securely held.
- Release the push button to lock the instrument in place.
Adjusting Rotation Angle:
- Hold the handpiece firmly, ensuring a secure grip.
- Rotate the handpiece head to the desired angle for optimal access and visibility during the procedure.
Procedure:
- Activate the dental motor according to the recommended speed and torque settings for the specific treatment.
- Use the handpiece head in conjunction with the selected instrument or attachment to perform the necessary dental procedure.
- Monitor the handpiece and instrument performance, making any adjustments as needed.
Instrument Removal:
- Upon completing the procedure, turn off the dental motor.
