Bracket Placement:

• Apply a small amount of orthodontic adhesive to the base of the bracket.
• Carefully place the bracket on the center of the tooth’s surface, aligning it according to the prescribed angulation.

Bonding and Curing:

• Light-cure the adhesive using a curing light for the recommended duration as per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
• Check for excess adhesive and remove it using a scaler or similar tool to ensure a smooth surface.

Tie-Wing Engagement:

• Insert the archwire into the slot of the bracket, ensuring proper engagement.
• Secure the archwire using ligature ties or self-ligating mechanisms, following the prescribed technique (Roth or Mbt).

Adjustments and Checks:

• Verify the bracket’s placement and alignment using dental instruments and visual inspection.
• Make any necessary adjustments to the archwire or bracket positioning to achieve the desired tooth movement.
• Conduct regular checks during follow-up appointments to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

Patient Care and Maintenance:

• Instruct the patient on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing around the brackets and archwires.
• Advise the patient on dietary restrictions to prevent damage to the brackets and wires.
• Schedule regular appointments for adjustments, monitoring, and maintenance throughout the treatment period.

Removal and Post-Treatment:

• Upon completion of treatment, carefully remove the brackets using appropriate debonding instruments and techniques.
• Clean and polish the teeth to remove any adhesive residue and ensure a smooth finish.
• Provide post-treatment instructions for retention, including the use of retainers to maintain the achieved results.
