Description

Pevest Reveal is a green dye that enables visual differentiation between infected carious and sound dentine.

Reveal is a green FD & C dye in a propylene glycol base. Reveal assists the clinician in visual differentiation between the infected carious dentine and sound and re-mineralizable dentine by its ability to selectively dye the carious dentine.

Storage Conditions :

Store at a temperature between 10°C to 24°C.
Close the cap carefully after use.
Keep away from moisture.
Shelf life is not affected after opening if stored in a cool, dry place.

Packaging

1 x Plastic Dropper Bottle 5 ml.

Direction of use

Make a conservative cavity accessible.
Wash and dry carious dentine.
Dispense 1 or 2 drops of Reveal into a dappen dish and apply it to the cavity with a brush or cotton pellet.
Wait for 5 to 10 seconds, and rinse with water spray.
Remove green-stained infected dentine.
Repeat the application until carious dentine is removed and no further dentine staining occurs.

Caution: A low-speed rotary instrument should be used for removing the carious dentine since frictional heat generated by the high-speed tool can cause pain before all the stained outer carious dentine is removed.
