The Sceptre Sceptodex OPA Solution is a high level disinfectant for medical devices
It is used in reprocessing heat sensitive medical devices
This solution provides rapid high hevel disinfection at room temperature for manual processing
It is available in 5 Litre bottle
Composition:
Orthohthalaldehyde 0.55% w/w
Purified water IP qs
Application areas:
Heat resistant and heat sensitive instruments
Common manual semi automatic circulation and fully automatic procedures
Ultrasonic baths. Reprocessing or instruments.
Directions for use:
Device cleaning/decontamination: Blood, other body fluids and lubricants must be thoroughly cleaned from the surfaces and lumens of medical devices before immersing in Sceptodex OPA solution
Precautions:
Corrosive do not get in eyes, skin or clothing
Flush eyes with cold water in case of contact with the eyes
Wear personal protective gear before handling
Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling
