GENERAL RULES :
• 1mm-1.2mm: lower central incisor, lower lateral incisor, upper premolar, upper molar buccal lateral root canal, lower molar buccal root canal and lingual root canal.
• 1.4mm-1.6mm: upper lateral incisor, lower molar far root canal, upper, Upper molar Palatal lateral root canal.
• 1.6mm-1.8mm: upper lateral incisor, upper canine teeth, lower canine teeth, Bulky root canal.
CLINICAL OPERATION STEPS :
• Indicated for endodontically treated teeth with significant loss of tooth structure to increase stability and retention of subsequent coronal restorations
• Treated root canal with guttapercha.
• Select universal drill to remove root filling(1, 000-2, 000 rpm).
• Leave a minimum of 4 mm of filling apically.
• Select post size and matching drill.
• Use an appropriate drill to widen and shape the root canal.
• Insert post to check the fit in the prepared canal. Should be able to easily remove the post.
• Shorten post to the required length using a diamond disk and Suction system.
