Waldent Den Temp is a temporary filling material self-curing under humidity for the temporary filling of cavities material is impermeable to drugs. Dentemp is radio-opaque and moisture-activated temporary filling and sealing material.

STEP 1 –

• During the Restorative process, clean away the decay inside the cavity, usually with a drill, before filling it in.
• Removing the decay prevents further damage, but it doesn?t fix the damage to the tooth that already occurred.
• That?s where fillings come in.

STEP 2-

• Molds the Temporary filling cement to match the shape of the surrounding tooth.
• It will restore the strength and integrity of the tooth and prevent decay from re-entering the vulnerable area.
• Temporary filling cement restores full health and functionality to a tooth effectively and immediately.

FAQs

How long does Dentemp take to harden?

Place the crown, cap, or inlay on the tooth and bite down, applying pressure to push into position. Waldent DenTemp will begin to harden within a few minutes, but avoid chewing on the repair for at least 2-3 hours to allow the material to set.

How do I use Dentemp?

 

Place a thin layer of material (the thickness of 2-3 sheets of paper) on the upper inside wall of the crown. Place crown on wet tooth and press firmly. Bite down several times to insure proper fit. If the bite is not completely comfortable, remove and repeat all steps until the crown feels normal.
