    Waldent 16:1 Endomotor Handpiece Head can be used with rotary NiTi files Designed to aid the endodontic practitioner in efficiently and effectively performing root canal therapy. The operator controls coronal and apical pressure. Miniature push button head can be used with the Waldent Endopro Endomotor.

    Direction to Use

    Assembling the Handpiece

    • Ensure that the handpiece is clean and in good condition.
    • Connect the handpiece to the Endopro Endomotor using the provided E-type interface.

    Preparing Ni-Ti Files

    • Use Ni-Ti rotary files with a diameter of 2.35mm.
    • Ensure that the files are clean and sterilized before use.

    Inserting and Securing Ni-Ti Files

    • Press the push-button chuck to open it.
    • Insert the Ni-Ti file into the chuck, making sure it is properly seated.
    • Release the push button to securely hold the file in place.

    Setting the Endomotor

    • Turn on the Endopro Endomotor.
    • Set the desired speed and torque settings on the Endomotor based on the requirements of the root canal procedure.

    Performing Root Canal Therapy

    • Begin the root canal procedure, maintaining control over coronal and apical pressure.
    • Utilize the 16:1 gear ratio for efficient and effective root canal therapy.

    Monitoring and Adjusting

    • Monitor the operation of the handpiece during the procedure.
    • If necessary, adjust the speed and torque settings on the Endomotor for optimal performance.

    File Changes

    • If a file change is required during the procedure, press the push-button chuck to release the current file.
    • Insert a new Ni-Ti file and release the push button to secure it in place.

    Autoclaving

    • After completing the procedure, disassemble the handpiece according to the provided instructions.
    • Autoclave the components for sterilization, ensuring that the handpiece is autoclavable.

    Maintenance

    • Follow the recommended maintenance procedures outlined in the user manual to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the handpiece.

    • Store the handpiece in a clean, dry, and safe environment when not in use.
