Description

Waldent Wal-Needle Holder Mathieu 140mmis a single spring instrument with a plier handle grip that curves inward at the bottom and features a ratchet locking mechanism at the base of the handles that can be easily squeezed to be locked and unlocked.

– Maitheu is used tograsp & guide the needle while suturing

– Multiposition Ratchet provides controlled grip

– Spring action between the holding parts facilitates quick working,hence is time saving

– Mainly used for lace back wire tightening in orthodontics

Uses:

– Used to push the stretched interdental separator in the interdental area to make some space for the molar band

– Its a tool for laceback wire tightening in orthodontics

– Wire twisiting when making a fix retainers for lower anterior teeth

Key Specifications

MAINTAINENCE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Must clean after every use with warm water to remove blood, tissues and mucus from the instruments
• Ultrasonic cleaning is recommended for all the instruments specially articulated instruments such as forceps, rongeurs, etc
• Use only standard and reputed brand of disinfectant solutions.

STERILIZATION:

• We recommend that thetemperature does not exceed 120C
• Dry heat sterilization see that temperature does not exceed 180Cand there should be no long exposure as this would cause discoloration, loss of temper and this in turn would disturb the hardening of the instrument
• Do not use substandard chemicals or disinfectants as they can damage the instruments
• Avoid use of unsuitable highly acidic chlorine containing agents
• Use Demineralized water only
• Never rub an instrument with metal brush at the time of cleaning.
