Direction to Use

Setup:

• Ensure proper charging or connection based on recommended guidelines for use.

   

Power On:

• Power on the endodontic motor using the designated control button.

Select Mode:

• Choose the appropriate working mode based on the procedure requirements. Common modes include continuous forward rotation, continuous reverse rotation, reciprocation, and torque reversal.

Apex Locator Setup (Optional):

• If simultaneous root canal measurement is desired, activate the built-in apex locator feature.
• Alternatively, use the independent apex locator measurement with the separate file clamp.

Attach Endodontic File:

• Insert the endodontic file into the contra-angle head, ensuring proper attachment using the push-button retention system.

Adjust Settings:

• Adjust the speed and torque settings based on the specific requirements of the root canal procedure. Refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines for recommended settings.

Begin Procedure:

• Gently introduce the endodontic file into the root canal, allowing the motor to perform the mechanical root canal preparation.
• Monitor the device for real-time visibility of the file’s position in the canal.

Safety Features:

• Take advantage of safety features such as autoreverse and auto-forward modes to minimize the risk of file breakage.

Apex Locator Guidance (If Used):

• Follow on-screen or audible guidance from the apex locator to determine the position of the file tip in the canal.

Shutdown:

• Power off the device once the root canal procedure is complete.

Hygiene and Maintenance:

• After each use, the cleaning and sterilizing the contra-angle head and other components.
• Disinfect the handpiece drive and charging station as recommended.
