Description

Waldent Wal-flex Gold Glide Rotary Files utilizes a proprietary heat treatment which gives it a very unique flexibility, flutes open up when the stress level is reached, yet the file does not present shape memory.

With increased flexibility and more resistance to cyclic fatigue, these files offer many advantages over manual stainless steel files:

Direction to Use

The Waldent Wal-flex glide file system consists of three rotary filesthat can be used for glide path enlargement after initial negotiation and establishment of a glide path with a number 10 K-file.

After a successful glide path has been established, Waldent Wal-flex G1(13/02) is introduced into the root canal at a rotation speed of 300 rpm in a delicate in and out movement until working length is reached. In canals that demonstrate accentuated curves in the apical third of the root canal system, it is also recommended to recapitulate with the size 10 K-file by hand to ensure complete patency of the root canal. G2(16/02) is then introduced followed by G3 (19/02)following the same protocol.
