Direction to Use
Patient Positioning:
- Seat the patient comfortably in the dental chair and adjust the headrest to the desired position.
Hand Hygiene:
- Before handling the Youni Propsafe, wash your hands thoroughly and put on appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves and a mask.
Insertion:
- Grasp the Youni Propsafe with a clean, gloved hand.
- Inform the patient about the procedure and reassure them.
- Gently insert the Propsafe into the patient’s mouth, positioning it for the intended anterior or posterior teeth. Ensure it provides a comfortable mouth opening and avoids contact with the teeth.
Retraction:
- Use the Youni Propsafe to retract the cheeks and lips as necessary to gain clear access to the dental area you are working on.
- Ensure that the tongue is properly retracted to keep it away from the teeth.
Procedure:
- Perform the dental procedure as needed, such as examination, cleaning, or treatment on the anterior or posterior teeth.
Patient Comfort:
- Throughout the procedure, periodically check with the patient to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Be attentive to any signs of discomfort, and make adjustments as necessary.
Removal:
- When the procedure is complete, gently remove the Youni Propsafe from the patient’s mouth.
